Wyse London preps York store opening

Expanding women’s fashion retailer Wyse London is now heading further north for its latest opening, in York, at the end of the month. 

Becoming its fourth UK store, it adds to the brand’s two in London – Chelsea and Marylebone – as well as Southwold, Suffolk, with further stores planned over the next 18 months, both nationally and internationally.

Located on Stonegate, the York 693 sq ft store is housed in a Grade II listed building and embraces its historic charm, featuring a decorated façade and stained glass detailing.

The new store will showcase Wyse London’s AW25 collection, including new interpretations of its bestselling Fabienne Dress and Clemmy Shirt.

CEO Kara Groves said York “becomes our first flagship outside of London, added: “Wyse is, first and foremost, a direct-to-consumer brand, so to expand our bricks-and-mortar presence into the North of England for the first time is an exciting moment for us to welcome both new and loyal customers.

“We are immensely proud of our stores and have laid strong groundwork to continue to expand our footprint into new markets and locations.”

She also noted the new York store will become a hub for customer events throughout the year to further build on Wyse’s growing fan base.

In July, the brand also launched its secondhand marketplace for authentic, secondhand Wyse items, powered by resale platform Continue.
